In these dark times following the Flotilla fiasco, there may be a glimmer of hope that positive momentum may be around the corner in a groundswell support for the plight of Israel. Separately, there has been a great web effort to advance the Israeli narrative by the IDF, Israeli government and passionate individuals. One successful example is the music parody video called We Con the World that was created by an Israeli comedy troupe. It is been viewed 1+ million times in less than a week. The next few months will be crucial given world attention and the real possibility that Iran will be come even a greater force in this unfortunate situation. Stay tuned and involved.

Israel’s disputes with its neighbors have a long history – but there’s also a less tangible, but no less important front line: the media. Public opinion in the United States is an important area of concern for Israel, especially considering Israel has not always been great with its own PR. Fortunately, there are a number of American-based groups that help make the case for Israel, and one of the best is The Israel Project (TIP).
